However, it hasn't always been this way. When I was younger I had many insecurities and fears. I battled with social anxiety, suicide, drugs, alcohol, and many other coping mechanisms. Then, to make matters worse, I had demonic encounters on a nightly basis. My life was spiraling out of control. Don't worry it's about to get better. Luckily for me, around twenty-five years old I had my first encounter with God. And the best part is is that I didn't even know I could hear His voice, let alone encounter Him. This experience began a journey that changed my life and, since then, I've had hundreds like it —everything from dreams, open visions, audible encounters, and so much more. 

Now that I know I can encounter God I am obsessed with learning how to have more. I noticed that after each encounter I would feel different. It was almost like a piece of God was deposited in me each time He met with me. Hope, faith, joy, and love was not just imparted but it became grafted into my very DNA. 

Now it brings me to you. There is nothing that makes me special that God would encounter me and not you. You don't have to clean yourself up or change anything. If you could perfect yourself enough for Him to encounter you, why would you ever need Him? It is impossible to make yourself clean and it is this need that gives Him a perfect landing place to come. And when He comes, we become like Him—that's the purpose and heart behind experiencing God. Through Jesus, we have full access to heaven and when heaven comes, the earth becomes a lot more fun.
